Business locked out before opening time?
If staff cannot enter your shop, office, clinic or warehouse in Dubai, contact our team with the affected door and the person authorised to arrange access.
Send your Dubai location, door type and what has happened. Ask us to confirm current availability, an arrival estimate and the quote before work starts.
Prepare the right person and information
A business lockout involves more than a missing key. A manager, owner or authorised representative may need to confirm the request, meet the technician and agree the work. Arrange this during the first call to avoid delays at the door.
- Building name, business or unit name, floor and Dubai location.
- Which entrance or internal room is affected, and whether staff or customers are waiting.
- Whether the door uses a key, keypad, access card or another system.
- What happens when the normal key or credential is used, and whether other authorised users have the same problem.
- Who can confirm permission to access the premises and any building-security requirements.
Choose the affected business door
- Office entrance or internal office door: tell us if it is the main unit entrance, a meeting room or an equipment room.
- Glass shop or showroom door: explain whether the lock, handle or door movement is the problem.
- Warehouse or commercial unit door: describe the door construction and the lock, if known.
- Digital or smart-lock entrance: provide the model and describe the keypad, reader or app behaviour.
Building access and your own unit door
If the problem is at a shared building entrance, lift access or a common-area card reader, contact building management or security as well. Access to those areas may be controlled separately from the lock on your business unit. Explain where access stops so the right party can be involved.
Agree the quote before opening work
Cost depends on the door, lock, fault, location and any replacement hardware. Confirm the arrival estimate and what the quote includes. The technician assesses the door and explains the proposed approach before work begins.
We aim to restore access without unnecessary damage where possible. If the lock is damaged or a replacement is needed, agree that work and its cost separately before proceeding.
After business access is restored
Ask what caused the fault and whether the entrance remains secure. If a business key is lost or a previous key holder should no longer have access, discuss lock or key-management changes with the authorised manager. An electronic access system may also need its administrator to review credentials.
Business lockout questions
Can an employee request a locksmith?
An employee can contact us to explain the issue. Have an owner or authorised manager available to confirm access and agree the work; ask the team what documentation is needed.
Can you attend outside normal business hours?
Contact our 24/7 emergency service and provide your location. Current availability and travel conditions determine the arrival estimate.
Should we force the door to get the business open?
No. Forcing a door can damage its frame, lock or glass. Keep the entrance clear and explain any attempted opening or existing damage to the technician.
For non-urgent work, view our service booking page or contact the team to arrange a visit.
